How a Letter from her sister in law helped her?

I don’t have the best memory of when I first met you but from what your brother told me about you then; I saw you as the big sister who kept things together in the house on Florence Avenue. What I do remember is the season I saw you most. That is when Noelle went to your Karate school. You tried your best to keep her coming in spite of the financial difficulties your brother and I had. We were always grateful for that. I remember you were willing to listen to my business goal and dream to own a daycare center and after school program. You advised me on putting together a business plan so we can further discuss it. You and Jose cheered me on in Primerica to get to the next level. I always tell everyone that Primerica taught me great leadership skills and a drive for success that was hidden behind my feelings of inadequacy and timidity. That season in my life is forever part of who I am today.

I can honestly say you are my favorite sister in-law. I feel I can talk to you more and trust that you would give me an unbiased answer. When I heard of your divorce, I was truly devastated. I prayed for your healing constantly. I also prayed God would move you to Texas to start a business. But it was not possible since your children lives in NJ

Angie, this is what I think of you: I think you are a kindhearted woman of God who loves to help others. You are passionate about making a difference in this world. You already made a difference in many people’s lives and you are still doing it! The impact you have made on others are life changing and lasts a lifetime. You were an inspiration to me, because in you I saw a tangible example of a successful Haitian American business woman. All the loss you endured does not undermine who you are!!! You are still that person I mentioned above. Please remember, you did not lose the most important asset in your life. That is having The Creator of the Universe on your side. Who else can compete with Jesus who gives UNFAILING LOVE. Love from men is always conditional; You must be good enough to earn their love. But the LOVE OF GOD is unconditional!!! We’re never good enough to earn it, but yet he freely gives it!!!!

You said you were going back in school! That is awesome! This is a great time since you have no small children to worry about. You can do this! I have no doubt with God’s help you will overcome any obstacles!!! I was closest to God during my struggles; and when I was in nursing school I was in constantly praying asking for mercy over every tests, quizzes, when I was studying I prayed for God to give me memory, intelligence and wisdom. When most people studied something once and got it the first time I had to study it maybe 4 times to get it but I did not care because we ended graduating together. I recorded all lectures, listen to them while driving, read notes and book while recording myself so I can listen while cooking or doing chores. The workforce solution was a big help for me financially they helped with gas, uniforms, books supplies and tuition. Check out the verses below for encouragement.

Let’s stay in touch I’m only a phone call away! You and your family will be in my constant prayers.

Have you ever read the book called “Lies women believe” by Nancy Lee Demoss? It is refreshing!

John 15:5–7, John 15:15–16 the entire chapter is great. Also check out Philippians 4:6–7 and John 16:23–24 and psalm 37:4 stand on those verses when you pray. You should also check out 40 days of prayer by Rick Warren it will be life changing.

Love, Esther
